How many days to do 1000 Miles? 3-4
Hometown: Deerville NB
Biggest Dream?
I’ve always dreamed of owning my own restoration shop to be able to restore old cars
and trucks to pass the smile from my face to other people’s when they see it roll out the
door.
Why Do I Ride?
I got a kitty kat when I was 3 years old for Christmas and sense then its been a passion
of mine and one of my favorite things to do. Sleds allow you to go places where nothing
else can and experience things a lot of people don’t get the chance to. And of course
that two stroke smell!
Other Sports?
Hockey and tractor pulling
Job?
This is my first year out of high school and I’m currently working for myself doing
autobody and planning on opening my own fulltime shop.
Snowmobiling Style?
Aggressive, fast and loud… except for when moms around.
Hardest part of the Challenge?
The obvious challenge is going to be the mental and physical strain that 1000 miles has
on your body, however I think prepping my sled and keeping it on the straight and
narrow due to it being 20 years old will be a whole other challenge.
Looking Forward To?
I’m looking forward to simply completing the challenge and sending loads of kids to
camp, I’m also really looking forward to acquiring my sponsors.
Why Send Kids To Camp?
I went to camp for many years and its where I started to really see my faith grow when I
was a kid and I want other kids to be able to experience that no matter their financial
situation, so what better opportunity then snowmobiling.
Did I Go to Camp as a Kid?
I went to camp as a youth for 4 or 5 years and my favorite part was just the bond you
grew with friends and leaders many of whom I’m still friends with today, I also didn’t
realize at the time but it was crucial in my relationship with god.
How Much Do I Think I'm Going To Raise?
The more money raised the better but a specific goal I have set for my self is ten
thousand dollars. I’m not sure in the grand scheme of things if it’s a lot or a little but I’m
gonna give it a shot.
Ideal Sponsor?
Growing up I’ve always wanted the newest of gear or performance parts but never had
deep enough pockets so for me any of the big name brands would be massive, however
if I had to name one or two I think 509 would be huge as well as CKX and SLP. I’m going
to need help with gear and parts to keep my ol trusty stead and me going to ultimately
reach the goal of sending kids to camp.
How Excited?
I’ve followed the challenge sense it started and now getting the chance to do it myself,
I’m pretty pumped.
How ready am i?
I personally am 10/10 ready my sled on the other hand is Squeamish at the idea.
